Windows 10: I think my Windows 10 PC is being remotely accessed.

I have been really sceptical about my computer recently. So I ran netstat -a and a weird established connection comes up. I blocked out the number as it might private but I really don’t know.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Remote Access

1. Follow these steps to disallow remote access to your PC completely:
2. 1. Type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. Select “Allow remote access to your computer”. This may seem counter-intuitive, but this opens the Control panel
   dialog for Remote System Properties.
3. 2. Check “Don't Allow Remote Connections” to this Computer. You've now disabled remote access to your computer.

Try these two steps and tell us if your issue gets solved. If it does not then your PC may be infected. Use a Good antivirus to remove the infection from your device completely.

 

Windows 10 remote access doesn't show that a computer is logged-in remotely to the PC.

Hi,

when I logged in remotely to a Windows 10 PC it did not show that there is a PC logged in
remotely and didn't display anything, it acts like nothing is happening, So if anyone remotely accessed my PC (Windows 10) I will not recognize that.

any suggestions ?
