Windows 10: I think there is something wrong with Visual Studio 2019 Pro

I have owned VS 2019 for about a week and could only get one simple program to work. It just had a cin and cout.

Right now I have another simple program that doesn't work

int integer1, integer2, sum;



char cout << "Enter first integer\n";



int cin >> integer1;



char cout << "Enter second integer \n";





cin >> integer2;



sum = integer1 + integer2;

char cout << "Sum is " << sum << endl;


}

There are squiggly line under the << and >>. There was squiggly lines under the cin and cout. I get the same thing when I use #includes. This is aggravating paid microsoft a lot of money for this software. Oh yeah, I put the char and they got rid of the lines under the cin and cout commands.
