So I have a TCL 6 series TV and lately whenever I'm playing a game on my PC, the TV switches to game mode automatically. If I go into the TV's settings it says "Game mode has been activated by your gaming console" even though game mode in Windows has been turned off. I've had both this PC and TV since April and only about a month ago has this started happening and what's more now whenever l'm in fullscreen mode on say a YouTube video the TV goes into game mode as well... Mind you, this is all with both Game Mode and the Game Bar turned off in windows setting, as well as my TV's own game mode also disable. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Windows 10 Creators update Game Mode

So I just discovered Game Mode in the new Creators Update. Anyone use it yet, also Game DVR, Broadcasting and record build into W 10 much like Nvidia Shadowplay

Windows +G ( have to have a game open) Brings up the Game Mode tells the system to allocate CPU and GPU to prioritize the game when it is active full screen. It says it will give you steadier frame rates. Also the ability to record or broadcast

    Game Mode Win10

    Hi,

Game Mode is automatically enabled to some games only. There are some games that require you to manually enable Game Mode before you can use this feature on your Windows 10 device.

To manually turn on Game Mode, you can follow the steps below:

    • Press the Windows key on your keyboard + G.
    • Select Settings.
    • In the General tab, select the check box for Game Mode.

If you have any other queries, feel free to post your concerns here anytime.
