    I thought I believed that nothing surprised me anymore until!


    Where do I begin to defend this scenario? I am under constant attack by individuals that are using my wi-fi to access my Marvell Yukon fiber optic dsl where they set up a Network boot using a pxs I think it's called. When I started my pc they could have whatever shell programs loaded to attack my system and take it over. So far I have tried Malwarebyts which could actually slow them down for a day or two. Most programs don't even show as much as a warning sign. I have used Ccleaner, Avast , and Norton and could find traces where they had been hacked and used to help the hackers.But their ha

    Not Surprising

    Not surprising, as most desktops (worldwide) are running W7.

    Also MS' has behaviour has guaranteed this outcome:

    • The GWX fiascos encouraged lots of users to disable Windows Update
    • To make sure WU wasn't turned back on MS switched to cumulative updates
    • For additional insurance they made sure that everyone knew cumulative updates contained modified telemetry
