Windows 10: I tried everything and computer continues to turn on a few seconds after shutdown..

I have HP Envy Phoenix 810-135qe, motherboard Kaili MS-7826, I know is a bit old, but it was working fine and still work fine, is just the annoying turning on after shutdown. I had this problem before when updated from WIN10 1909 to WIN10 2004, yet was fixed by updating drivers. Hence my surprise that with the latest WIN10 update the problem came back and doesn't get fix no matter what I tried.Things I tried1: Turn Off Fast Startup.2: Try the Power Troubleshooter.3: Set Windows to Ignore Scheduled Tasks.4: Turn Off Automatic Restart.5: Prevent Your Keyboard or Mouse From Waking Up Your Compute

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

If you still have the device, please let the device charge at least 2 hours and do the 2-button shutdown one more time to see if you can turn on the device.

• A 2-button shutdown
  • Press and hold the power button on your Surface for 30 seconds.
  • Press and hold the Volume-up button and the
    Power button on your Surface at the same time for at least 15 seconds, and then release both. The screen may flash the Surface logo, but continue holding the buttons down for at least 15 seconds.
  • After you release the buttons, wait 10 seconds.
  • Press and release the power button on your Surface to turn it back on.

My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

If this doesnt work, read this article its about
a dell inspiron but the same applies for you hp. It has some detailed step by step instructions

1. Click the “K” menu in the bottom left corner.
2. Click “Logout”.
3. Knoppix will begin shutting down.
4. The Knoppix CD will be ejected.
5. Remove the CD and close the tray.
6. Press Enter on the keyboard.
7. Knoppix will attempt to turn off the computer automatically. If it doesn't turn off automatically, it is now safe to turn off the computer yourself using the power button.
