Windows 10: I tried to cancel the Update Security Info thing

I tried to cancel the Update Security Info thing and was asked to verify if it's me, I put in my email. I was asked to check my email for a security code but nothing was emailed to me, then I kept refreshing but nothing seemed to work.I use outlook, not gmail.

I want to update security information and I can't get past this screen. The alternative email on file (to get a code) can't be edited, and it's not a working email

Cancel Security Info request without mobile number

Hi, I need to cancel my security info change request but do not have access to my mobile number registered on my account. Any advice?

I followed the steps and thats how I managed to reset the password on him/her, but when I go to account setting to remove their email it says:

"You can't access this site right now

This site requires a security code to sign in. When your security info updates on 1/3/2019 you will be able to access this site. You can still access sites such as Outlook and Skype that don't require a security code.

On 12/4/2018 you requested that your security info be replaced.

That alternate email is also the hackers, so I cannot cancel the security change. When I try, it asks to send an email code to it.
