Discus and support I tried to find out what caused this bluescreen, but I can't get the info out of Windbg. in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; A driver causes sometimes when I restart my pc a "driver_power_state_failure".     I tried to find out what caused this bluescreen, but I can't get the info out of Windbg.


    A driver causes sometimes when I restart my pc a "driver_power_state_failure".

    Bluescreen Probably caused by : ntoskrnl.exe

    I get Bluescreen now and then.

    I used the Windbg to look att the mini crashdump.

    I can't understand everything in there but it says "Probably caused by : ntoskrnl.exe"

    What i have done:

    Took out the graphiccard, wasen't it.

    Checked the RAM with Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, wasen't it.

    The minidump files on my Onedrive:

    KB3163018 causes bluescreen in DirectX DXGMMS1.sys when I maximize video

    Still have the same problem.

    My setup:

    • Lenovo W530
    • Windows 10 64bit
    • Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
    • NVIDIA Quadro K2000M

    Just installed the anniversary update, updated my BIOS, intel graphics card driver and SSD firmware. Fullscreen applications like YouTube still cause a bluescreen.

    Any suggestions Microsoft?

    I tried to find out what caused this bluescreen, but I can't get the info out of Windbg.

    windbg getcontextstatefailed

    it seems to be the symbol search for ntoskrnl that is the cause

    i have tried windbg on a not updated (creators)windows 10 host and there i can analyze the minidump file
