    I tried to fix windows updates, and I don’t know what to do now.


    So I’ve been experiencing issues with windows updates for the last few months and it’s been preventing me from updating windows OS. I recently decided to use DISM tool commands to find and solve the issue, but once I used the restore health command I ran into a problem; there was a error(code was 0x800f081f) “source files cannot be found.” I don’t know how to proceed from here. Do I have to do a clean reinstall or is there anything else I can do to fix this?

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

    Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
    i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

    explorer was working fine... tried to re run it and the problem still the same *Frown I tried to fix windows updates, and I don’t know what to do now. :(

    update:
    tried without vga and without memory... the problem persists...
    later i will try another windows instalation checking each step until i get this problem again
