Windows 10: I tried to format my ssd to install windows in there too, but it influenced somehow my windows

The files are still inside it, but I can't restore Windows with a bootable USB from it. I get this message when I try to restore the hard disk partitions. How can I fix this without losing files? the translation is : "The volume "lost Volume 2" can not be restored because of volume partition overlaps with other existing partition."

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

 

How to format on Windows 7

just format from the installer on the windows 7 DVD. the options there when you choose which drive to install on.


i suggest partiotining the drive, i run with a 60GB C: drive, but then move my user folder to the D: partition - so that when i format/reinstall, my desktop/my docs, etc, dont get lost.
