Discus and support I tried to install windows 8.1 but when I enter my product key it says this key dosent work... in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Soo I was wondering whst I could do soo if anybody can help me that would be very much appreciated...     I tried to install windows 8.1 but when I enter my product key it says this key dosent work...


    Soo I was wondering whst I could do soo if anybody can help me that would be very much appreciated

    Windows 8 key troubles

    When I first brought my Windows 8 product key from the MS store I was able to use that key for a clean install of the OS and now it won't, apparently it's just an upgrade key so it says?

    I don't think that tool asks for a key if you are running the version of Windows you are trying to download the ISO for.

    or just use generic cdkey to install and then that key to activate later
