Windows 10: I tried to upgrade the RAM on my computer and now it will not turn on.

I have been using 2x8GB sticks, and they're not keeping up with my needs. I upgraded to 2x16GB sticks I checked compatibility, which should have been plug-and-play, and now my computer will not turn on. I can't access the BIOS screen. I put the original RAM back and still nothing. I attempted to clear the CMOS by removing the motherboard battery and shorting the CLRTC pins with a screwdriver, as instructed in the manual. Still nothing, with either set of RAM. All of this was done with the computer fully disconnected from power, and after holding down the power button for 30 seconds each tim

Video card or RAM need upgrading?

Memtest: no errors after 10 hrs.
I'm going to perform the Primetest, later on. Get back to you on that.
I'm going to take it step by step, guys. I need to find the problem with this current computer. I might have to upgrade some components, so that it is still runnable. As for the new one, yes....i will build on it later. I need to find something decent 'gaming experience', all suggestions appreciated. THanks.

 

16GB RAM only 8GB usable on Windows 10 x64

have 16GB of RAM installed on my computer, but only 8GB is usable. I am running Windows 10 x64. I have tried the following steps to fix this issue, but they have not worked:

1. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.
   
2. I have tried reseating the RAM modules.
   
3. I have tried using different RAM modules.
   
4. I have tried run-MSConfig
   

I am still not able to use all 16GB of RAM. Any suggestions?
