  1. I try to create an custom install image for Windows 10 1803 and 1809

I try to create an custom install image for Windows 10 1803 and 1809 (to test the preservation of our settings). All in all i followed the tutorial here Customize Windows 10 Image in Audit Mode with Sysprep | Tutorials

So we did a 1803 installation
    Entered Audit mode
Did all our stuff but we fail on
    Get-AppXProvisionedPackage -Online | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online
We also tried to select just a few apps through
    Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Out-GridView -PassThru | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online
    We always get "wrong parameter".

Get-AppxPackage | Remove-AppXPackage works fine for the following apps
    Microsoft.BingWeather
    Microsoft.GetHelp
    Microsoft.Getstartet
    Microsoft.Messaging
    Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub
    Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection
    Microsoft.Office.OneNote
    Microsoft.People
    Microsoft.SkypeApp
    Microsoft.Wallet
    microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps
    Microsoft.WindowsFeedbackHub
    Microsoft.Xbox*

When we now install a system with this image we get the provisioned apps in each new profile.
The question is, how to we get rid off those provisioned apps? We know there is a folder with the install sources but we dont want to delete those apps, we just want to not have most of the provisioned apps, i think we do something wrong but i dont get it what we doin wrong

    :)

  2. Help, cant create windows image

    Hello there, @fullinfusion!

It seems like some sort of an OS confusion has happened with your secondary WD Black and I'm sorry to hear about that. *Frown I try to create an custom install image for Windows 10 1803 and 1809 :(
Maybe re-formatting it would help indeed as the community already mentioned. I'd suggest to take a look at this step-by-step how to partition and format an HDD: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=PYCoid
Keep in mind that this will wipe clean the drive, so you should backup all important data from the drive somewhere else.
I noticed from the screenshots that your HDD appears as Disk 0, this means that it's plugged in the primary SATA port where the SSD (as an OS drive) should be. Actually it is possible that because of this Windows cannot create the image there. Swap the ports of the SSD and the HDD, this might help as well.

Keep me posted. Hope this helped! *Smile I try to create an custom install image for Windows 10 1803 and 1809 :)

    Windows 10 - 1803 to 1809

    Hi,

Last week I downloaded 64 bit ISO from Microsoft site, I got 1803 version image only,

I heard Microsoft released windows 10 - 1809, if yes then where to download 1809 ISO

and I installed 1803 image which I downloaded and also activated product online ,

    now question is

Will I get 1809 update automatically ? if yes then how ?

or do I need to get 1809 image and install my OS again? if yes, where can I download windows 10?

    Regards
