Windows 10: I turned off my computer while it was updating

I have an ASUS computer and i turned it on and it updated. it stayed at 100% a little too long for my liking, and none of the buttons i pressed helped aid this process, so i pressed the power button and now it wont turn on. The only sign that it isn't dead is that a light next to the lightbulb symbol is blinking. What do i do?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Log in twice to turn on computer

This issue might be due to changes on Settings after an update.

• Are you using Microsoft account to sign-in into the user account?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

For initial troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you try the steps provided below:

• Right click Start Button or press Windows key + X and select Settings.
• In the Settings app, navigate to Accounts > Sign-in options.
• On the Sign-in options screen, scroll down and under
  Privacy section, turn Off the Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart option.
• Close Settings app and restart the machine, check if the issue is resolved.

WiFi refuses to turn on

Hello,

A quick question before we proceed:

Is your computer airplane mode is turn on?

I suggest you to go to the follow the below step and check if you’re able to toggle the Airplane mode:

• 
  Go to settings and click on Network & Internet.
  
• 
  Go to airplane mode and toggle.
  

I also suggest you to check if the function key for Wi-Fi works or not. Kindly
Refer to your computer manual to check which function key do so.
