Windows 10: I turned on my computer and I get a black screen

    I turned on my computer and I get a black screen


    I have been using Windows for about a year now and I've been getting glitches on my computer and it's not a virus because I have an antivirus. but sometimes when I turn on my computer I get a black screen and nothing shows up. I got my DVI cable plugged in everything and I still get a black screen. I have been tightening it so hard that my hands hurt and I still get a black screen. any suggestions?

    Black Screen after Log on


    Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

    • Did you make any changes to the PC after which you are getting a black screen?

    The black screen issue could be related to display drivers and might get resolved by updating the display drivers. Without the correct driver, the hardware or device that you want to use won't work properly.
