I asked for you to clarify what you are trying to do if it's not install Windows to a Virtual Machine. Why are you installing Virtual Platform machine exactly?

If you're installing Virtual Platform machine and it's causing WIndows 11 to freeze after restart, have you considered using Hyper V instead as it is more complete - as explained in this article:

How do I disable my virtual machine platform?

I am attempting to fully disable my virtual machine platform for a job. I have unchecked all proper boxes in the windows features window and have restarted the machine to apply the changes. However, even as it says it did so successfully, the virtual machine is still enabled. I attempted to disable in BIOS but there was no option for virtualization in my BIOS. Can you direct me in other ways to get it disabled? It is a requirement for my computer to be used for my new job to get it disabled. I tried updating BIOS as well and nothing appeared after the update either. Not sure where to go from here.
