Windows 10: i uninstalled kaspersky AV but i am still left with kaspersky options in security.

I removed kaspersky and used another AV. i reset microsoft security as well as repaired it, still nothing. it keeps trying to run my browser through kaspersky services so some websites arent available. help? i tried uploading the screenshots here but it kept saying failed so i uploaded them to imgur.https://i.imgur.com/VNPPMGv.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/KyoItVY.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/7WArfEV.png

Kaspersky Uninstall

I have uninstalled Kaspersky AV and was attempting to use Window's Defender program as my default AV program. However, when I try to designate WD to automatically turn on full time and not just run as a limited periodic scan, WD tells me to uninstall the
"other" AV program, which I already did.

I cannot figure out how to designate WD as the default AV program. I did go to Settings/Update & Security and could not find a tab labeled Security.

Any help would be appreciated.

I want to install free Microsoft security I still have about 10 days left with Kaspersky. What are steps to take to do this?

 

(***Solved***) Can't upgrade to Windows 11 because of Kaspersky Endpoint Security (Even uninstall Kaspersky)

I successfully upgrade to window 11 by doing the following steps:

1. re-install Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows

2. run Kaspersky removal tool and uninstall Kaspersky

3. reboot Laptop

4. delete the Kaspersky folder in program files/ program files(X86)

5. open regedit and delete Kaspersky related key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE

6. Restore and repair system files. Select the Start button, then in the search box on the taskbar, type command prompt. Choose Command Prompt from the list of results. In the window that pops up, type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press the Enter key. (Learn to repair a Windows image)

7. reboot laptop

8. run windows update and it is successfully upgrade to window 11.
