I uninstalled my NVIDIA graphics driver on device manager, Please help!

Hi, I'm using a Dell laptop : Precision M4800, And It has a Nvidia Quadro k1100M graphics on it. I have been using a 2018 version of driver for this card for past past 3 years and I had no problem but recently I updated it to a 2020 version The last update this card have and it had some problems with many applications and games which I ran with the 2018 version driver. Since I can't install any drivers using the EXE files from Nvidia or the Nvidia applications because I always get an error saying This graphics driver is not supported in your windows operating system The only option to roll

    :)

  2. Nvidia Graphics Driver Not Compatible With This Version of Windows - Error

    PC Specs:

    • Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-Bit (Version 22H2) - I have the latest version installed
    • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ
    • GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M
I was having some problems running some games on my GPU so tried uninstalling and reinstalling the graphic drivers from Device manager.

But as soon as I uninstalled it, I could not install it again as it was showing this error "Nvidia Graphics Driver Not Compatible With This Version of Windows".

The error was the same even when I downloaded the specific version and tried to install the driver from Nvidia website.

It's not even showing up in my device manager anymore.

    Any help/suggestion is much appreciated.

    Thanks

Nvidia driver doesn't detect the graphic hardware

Did you notice that on Device Manager the Display adapter doesn't appear ?

And I tried installing the latest driver from Nvidia site and it didn't detect any compatible graphic hardware

    Nvidia Graphics Card

    Hello Brian,

I request you to try the following steps:

Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
    Drivers

    • Right click on the Start menu.

    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

    • Search for the Graphics Card
from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
      from the computer.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

I hope this helps you. If you have any further query in future, feel free to contact us. We will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
