Windows 10: I uninstalled my RTX 2070 Super from device manager and now it isn't being detected.

So one day I'm playing video games and then my pc randomly shuts off and my monitor won't display but still, the fans turn on when I turn the computer on. I tried to download drivers for my GPU but the Nvidia installer said it could find no compatible device so what I do is go into the device manager and find it under hidden devices and uninstall it then took it out and put it back in my PC and it was no longer being detected at all and not spinning when I turn it back on or being seen in device manager but the lights still turn on. Please help.

My specs:

CPU - i7 8700k

GPU - Rog RTX 2070 Super

Mobo - Asus Z370 Prime a II

Ram - 16 gb corsair

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Nvidia RTX 2070 mobile is not detected by windows 10

Hi,

I have an asus ROG STRIX SCAR II GL504GW and i have a problem with the Nvidia RTX 2070 Mobile. Windows 10 PRO version 1909 build 18363.657 is not recognizing this GPU, i tried differents alternatives to make it work, but i still have the problem. The things
i tried are these:

1. Uninstall GPU drivers and install Nvidia's officials ones
2. Uninstall GPU drivers and install Asus VGA Nvidia Official Driver
3. Update Bios with Asus Bios latest version
4. Make a windows 10 clean install and updated it to the latest version
5. I repited 1 and 2
6. i followed this advice from the forum: Nvidia GPU Error Code 45 Laptop

And the problem continues. Please i need a solution.

 

Device Manager Un-Hiding Hidden Devices

When you connect a plug and play device, Windows Plug and Play manager detects it, finds and installs the driver. Device Manager lists the device with a solid icon.

The driver is only removed when you uninstall the device, not simply by disconnecting the device. When the device is disconnected, its driver is still installed. By default, Device Manager only displays connected devices. When you show hidden devices, note the Bluetooth icon you see is semi-transparent (not opaque). That indicates a "non-present" device. Sometimes also called a "ghost" device. The driver is still installed but the device is not currently detected (i.e. not connected).

Device can be disconnected when

• Device unplugged (e.g. removing a USB device)
• Turning a device OFF
• Disabling the device in BIOS (then windows won't detect it) or
• Device failure

So

• Check BIOS as suggested
• Check board connections
• Can b/t be turned off by a switch? or keyboard combination?

Also possible the b/t h/w failed
