Windows 10: I updated my computer. Do I have to buy another product key because now it won’t let me use...

I updated my computer. It says I have to reactivate windows. I never used a Microsoft account. I always use the local account and I troubleshoot everything and now it’s forcing me to buy a new key.

What do you mean you HAD to install W10 ?

If you don`t have a key you`ll have to buy one, or use a 7 or 8 key as suggested.
