    login options don´t work

Good day! I'm Raniel, a Microsoft user like you. I understand your frustration regarding this issue and I'll do my best to help.

First, double-check if your machine is up-to-date with the latest security patches: Kindly go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. Once done, reset your Windows Hello Biometrics and check again: https://blog.goptg.com/how-to-reset-windows-hel...

If that didn't work, you may also perform the additional methods on these articles to further troubleshoot the issue:

    https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-10/how-to-fix-...

    https://thegeekpage.com/windows-hello-face-is-n...

Another option is to enable the "built-in" administrator account to isolate the issue:

    1. On your search bar, type command prompt and select "run as administrator"

    2. On the command prompt window, type net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter

    3. Reboot your machine, then login to your admin account, and see if you'll encounter the same issue

Note: If you don't encounter the issue on the built-in administrator account, I suggest that you create a new user account (go through the steps under "My computer is in a workgroup") . Please refer to this article as a guide: https://support.microsoft.com/help/14039/window...

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Computer Sleep Option Missing in Settings

The Settings Power and Sleep menu in Settings should list Screen and Sleep, where Sleep is used to tell when the PC goes to sleep. Sleep is missing, so my computer never sleeps. Fast startup and Hibernate are not enabled.

I used Tutorial Add or Remove Sleep in Power menu in Windows 10 to change the registry while in administrative mode, but sleep still is not seen.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FlyoutMenuSettings now lists :1: It was 0 before the change.

I cannot get a large image, so will type
    Default REG_SZ (value not set)
    ShowHibernate REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (0)
    ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1)
    ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1)

I used Option 3 to add sleep using the Group Policy Editor. The steps seemed to work fine, but sleep is still missing.

I’m using a “new” refurbished Dell T3500 workstation with mbr running the current version of win10. I have a number of these computers, and the other all have the normal sleep mode .

    Any suggestions? Jim
