I use a school provided laptop and I want to listen to music as I go to school using my laptop. But I need to keep the lid closed. I read the response to a question similar to this, but I followed the steps, and eventually it said that your administrator has blocked the control panel.So if there is any other way, please help me out.

Unlink School Account

You don't have to worry about your school account linked to your laptop. As long as it is not listed under "Access Work or School" it is fine.

Your school will have limited the recovery options available n the Recovery Environment.

Is that a school laptop or your own personal laptop?

If that is your own laptop, where in Windows are you seeing the school account listed?

Open the Settings App.

Go to Accounts.

Select Your Info, is the school Email listed there?

Select Emails and Accounts, is the school Email listed there?

Select Access Work or School, is the school Email listed there?
