What a pain! and I just read Emily's complicated answer at least for me . I used to do this in Google drive and it was a breeze. Copy your file to the cloud, distribute it to your devices, delete the file from the cloud and finished!Off course that Answer I saw, as usual, although from this year, is in a locked thread! When fora will make curent/important threads permanent until they are irrelevant. And speaking of irelevant, it would also be good if they could be free of irelevant contribution like "I've got the same problem too" or the long version of it. So when someone has a problem

cannot open files on network shared drive

Is the remote shared folder mapped? Do you have a drive letter assigned to it?
I'd suggest calling the software developer and asking them.

 

Windows 10 Share on right click

I recently right clicked on a sensitive file and instead of clicking on Open with, accidentally clicked on the Share button. The following window popped up:





I immediately pressed the Esc key and the window disappeared. Does this window automatically share the file with the contacts listed in this window? Or would I have had to select a contact and go through additional steps to actually share the file? I'm worried that I've shared sensitive financial information with contacts that really shouldn't have seen them.

  Press Windows +E,
  
• 
  Right click on C: drive.
  
• 
  Select Sharing Tab.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced Sharing.
  
• 
  Uncheck “Share this folder”.
