Windows 10: I used Disk Cleanup and now my computer isn't working properly

I ran out of space on my laptop (Windows 10 at the moment) so decided to delete my unnecessary files/photos/apps. etc but I accidentally clicked Disk Cleanup on Windows which wiped every last thing from my laptop. This is not the worst as I had my most important files on OneDrive so I can manage as I can't find a way to undo Disk Cleanup.


HOWEVER. Ever since this happened my laptop isn't working properly anymore, my apps like Spotify, Google Chrome, Steam (including in-game) etc. crash randomly and just close down without me pressing the X button. the screen also changes its size format (randomly goes from normal 1920x1080 to 920x820 or something). And the only way to fix this is to turn the laptop off and on.


I have never ever had these problems before, my laptop always run perfectly smooth. Can you please help me I don't know what to do and I'm going into my final year in college in a few days I can't afford to have an unreliable laptop at hand. Please let me know ASAP of any way you can help me to fix this.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Hi joysoder, to properly and safely delete any files not required by your system, run Disk Cleanup twice as explained below. Each time select everything in the list and delete them. Disk Cleanup will not suggest deleting anything that is not safe to delete

Open File Explorer

Click on your hard drive

On the Manage Tab, click Cleanup

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete

Start Disk Cleanup again

Let Disk Cleanup do its initial scan

This time in the resulting dialog, click 'Cleanup System Files'

Let Disk Cleanup run another scan

Select Everything in the list and choose Delete
