I used my 32gb sd card to install an operating system to a computer afterwards its showing 122mb of unallocated space, when it should be a 32gb sd. Ive tried a **** ton of different drive tools built into windows and 3rd party they all say different things and none of them showed all 32gb or how to get it back

    :)

Using an SD card to install?

He said boot drive, but my interpretation is he meant bootable drive, like a bootable thumb drive. For installation purposes.

I've tried it on my laptop but the internal card reader does not show up in the boot selection list. Alpha, did you try it with a USB SD Card reader? Just curious.

  3. Unable to view images in SD Card

    Original title: 32gb SD Card

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10 and your steps in trying to solve the issue.

I suggest you to check the size of the SD drive and the size of the image in the SD drive. If there is any change in the size, the images might be hidden. So I suggest you to unhide the hidden files by following the steps below.

    • Right click on the Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type/(copy and paste) the command below:
attrib –h –r -s /s /d D:*.* (Replace the Last letter "D" by the drive letter as per the system

    assigned for your flash drive)

    3. Type Exit and press Enter.

Now open the SD card and check for the status.

Hope the information is helpful. Feel free to
write to us for any other assistance with Windows, we’ll be glad to assist you.
