    i used to be able to run around 120mbs download on my pc now it wont go higher then 30mbps


    my pc used to be able to run 100+MBPS now it cant go over 30mbps dunno what has happened, i tried downloading something and it struggled getting over 1.5mbps. but at the same time my phone could run 140mbps on same internet.

    Sub-30mbps PC Download Speed When I Have 300mbps Plan

    I'm not able to hardwire my PC with ethernet so it has to be connected on WIFI. Currently paying for 300mbps but I'm getting around 10-30mbps whenever I run speedtest.net. While playing videos or in a conference call, it auto-freezes every 15-20 minutes for 5-10 seconds.

    I've already tried

    • restarting the modem, boosters, PC itself multiple times
    • cleared cache and cookies
    • forgotten all networks on PC and relog
    • contacted my provider (Telus)
    • update drivers
    Unfortunately still no luck. The problem happened shortly after I got the Telus 6 cylinder installed at my home, replacing the boosters. At this point is seems like a PC issue more then an internet issue. My other wireless devices and phones are at 300+mbps when I run speed test. I do not use a VPN and do have McAfee security installed.

    In need of assistance if anyone has any idea how to fix this kind of issue. Thank you in advance!!

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?
