Windows 10: I want access to my digital content please

Just let Microsoft know that I supported them for many many years, but due to constant faulty hardware and lack of support for the windows phone that I had faith in as a Microsoft fan, I have switched to Nintendo, android, and Evercade for gaming, and android, Chromecast, firestick and Roku for media playback and also some gaming. I wish I could get some access to some of what I own on my Microsoft account on other platforms to compensate me for the shortcomings after all the money I invested.I have no access to the TV shows I purchased No access to the movies that don't show up on movies anyw

Digital content access with banned account

I know using the Xbox One, if an account is suspended permanently but set to home console, other accounts can still access the digital content associated with the banned account, per the Xbox enforcement website. What if the suspended customer only access
Xbox through the Xbox App on Windows 10? Is there a setting that will allow other profiles to access the digital content on the permanently suspended account? Or, as the code of conduct indicates, has that customer lost all access to that content? And if
so, are movies and TV shows purchased digitally included in this loss of access to Live?

I appreciate the reply. I do understand the case review policy. My question however is in the cases when a permanent suspension is upheld. As the code of conduct states a permanent suspension forfiets all live access for digital content. But my understamding
is when you purchase a movie the digital license attaches to the Microsoft account. And i want to know if that cintemt is still accessible through a different streaming app that does not go through Xbox live servers. Or does the customer lose all access.

 

Digital Content Access - The Most Disadvantage I Ever Discovered

I already posted this concern in this link below for the Xbox console but I also want to share my feedback here as well regarding any digital contents that sells on Microsoft Store.

I understand that as of today's modern technology such as digital contents (ie. Music, Movie, E-books, Games, Apps, Pics) are more convenient than having a physical contents that we dealt with before but I found the biggest disadvantage of digital contents.

I recently have constructive argument with Apple & Amazon customer support regarding the digital contents that I purchased from them. After purchasing digital contents, the developer removed the contents from storefront and then I couldn't retrieve the contents
anymore. Then I had to contact the developer in hope of getting the contents back to me but unfortunately, they never responded back and totally lost my contents I purchased and then send feedback and file a complaint with these 2 storefronts. This action
for both developer and storefronts is totally unacceptable. I will not tolerate for someone who responsibly removed the content that I purchased and cannot be retrieved and I don't care whether this was the part of policy and terms that I agreed with. Because
of this inconvenient service was done to me, I closed my account for both Apple & Amazon for good as well as provided negative feedback and criticism to developers. I even asked the storefronts for appeasement for losing all transactions I made such as all
my digital contents that I purchased including my active subscription and about to lose them all before terminating my account not because my idea to close my account it's because the storefront provided me the worst service ever and they are really deserve
to lose customer like me.

I fully understand that the developer always have rights to remove the content from storefront per policy & terms for both developer & storefront and also part of Digital Right Management (DRM) agreement. But here's my simple rule and basic logic and should
be tolerant of the fact:

"Whatever you legally purchase something, not rental nor subscription, you ALWAYS have rights to keep and use it at all times."

"Whatever you legally rent or subscribe something, you ALWAYS have rights to keep it until expiration at all times."

Once I buy a piece of candy at convenient store, I always have rights to keep and eat at all times. Taking the purchased digital contents away by developers is like taking my piece of candy that I legally purchased and I have to contact the manufacturer
to retrieve it. This will abuse me as customer's rights. Once I cancel the rent or subscription for good reason, I'm expecting to get refund for unused remaining. One of good example reasons for cancellation is inconvenient service I was provided. In case
you still don't understand my sentiment, I suggest think logically.

I want to primarily blame the developers for removing the content after I legally purchased and no longer use it and I want to blame storefront as well for agreeing with the developer's policy & terms on removing purchased contents. If I'm the store owner,
I simply will not accept and I have rights to refuse developer's service and its terms for removing purchased contents otherwise I will let my customers disappointed with my overall service.

Same thing as Microsoft Store as storefront. I currently have purchased digital contents since I signed up on Xbox Live as well as Microsoft account. Because of this incident happened to me, what if the developers decide to remove the contents such as app,
movie, music, etc... and then I cannot retrieve them after I purchased from your storefront? This is my first and last warning, I will be very disappointed and you are going to lose customer like me if this incident happens just like what I did to previous
two storefronts.

Here's my suggestion when you create policy & terms for better service:

- Use a dose of common sense.

- Think outside the box.

- Place a lit lightbulb over your head

I'm pretty sure you will get customer's satisfaction.
