Windows 10: I want my files and photos the way they were before onedrive messed them up

I want my files and photos the way they were before onedrive messed them up in the cloud. Maybe someone can tell me how to shut off onedrive and my files will be there. Is there a way restore files and photos just the way they before Onedrive took them away. If I turn off onedrive, they disappear. They tell me it saves space in my computer, that may be true, but my hard is large enough to not worry. I am not sure I explained my problem, just wish I would never let Onedrive in my computer.

Steps to move Google Photos to OneDrive

To make use of MultCloud to move photos to OneDrive,

enter the official website of MultCloud, create a free account,

Free Multiple Cloud Storage Manager: Manage Multiple Cloud Storage Accounts | MultCloud

Step 1. Click “Add Cloud Drives”, choose Google Photos and press Enter to add Google Photos. Then add OneDrive account in MultCloud using the same way.

Step 2. After adding Google Photos and OneDrive in MultCloud, click “Cloud Transfer” at the tool bar. In the “Cloud Transfer” interface, click “From: Select the directory you want to” transfer to add Google Photos and click “To: Select the target directory
you want to save the files to” to add OneDrive.

Step 3. Having selected Google Photos as the source directory and OneDrive as destination place, you can click “Transfer Now” to commit your task.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
