Windows 10: I want no password prompt on resume from screen saver but do want a password prompt on wake...

I have my screen saver set to kick in after 15 minutes.I have my screen set to turn off after 1 hour. I don't want a password prompt when dismissing the screen saver but I do want the prompt when waking the screen.How do I achieve that? Looks like Windows only allows the password prompt to be turned on and off for the screen saver. Note, I have the machine never set to sleep as I prefer to do that myself manually when I'm done for the day.

At startup, no password or login prompt

At Windows startup a login prompt with a password box, user account picture or name does not appear. All i see is my screen saver background. I found a temporary fix which is restarting my computer, then and only then can i type in my password to access my computer. The issue also happens if i put it to sleep, or hibernate, also have to restart computer. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

 

Turned off Password on Wake, but still get prompted


Hi all, I would like not to have to insert password every time I resume using my tablet after a few moments. I've switched this feature in the power settings, and even rebooted, but I still get prompted for a password upon waking the tablet.
Anyone know how to solve this dilemma?

This issue may occur if the display logon screen option is disabled on the screen saver settings. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to enable the
display logon screen option:

• On Cortana search, type settings.
• Choose Settings from the list.
• Click on Personalization, then select on Lock screen at the left pane.
• Click on Screen saver settings, then put a tick on the
  On resume, display logon screen.
• Click on Apply, then click on OK.
