    I want to add a custom property to a file. I don't want it to be added in filename.


    I want to add a custom property to all types of files. It should be always with the file even if move the file from windows to USB or vice versa. I tried using file stream but that has a limitation, it supports only on NTFS file system. Explored the property sheet handler as well to add a property in details section of file property but couldn't find a shell extension that can help. But again, shell extension also has the limitation. Can you help me provide a solution which can be used across windows platform and different file systems.Thanks

    Accessing Files

    • Don’t start or end your filename with a space, period, hyphen, or underline.
    • Save your file in a Folder on the C: drive, Desktop or in a Directory (ie) Pictures, Music, Downloads etc
