Windows 10: I want to close my microsoft account. What happens to my product licences?

I have multiple product licenses for things like office, windows 10, etc.If I close my microsoft account what happens to my product licenses?Can I still reinstall and/or activate the product I purchased?Can I get the product activation codes?Will I be able to install and continue to use the products paid for without the account?If I must keep the account to continue using the products purchased can I keep usingthe services under the agreement as it was when I signed the contract for the services?If I will not accept the contract changes an

How to verify that my Windows 10 licence is associated with my Hotmail/Microsoft account

Do those steps:

• Use the keyboard shortcut Windows-I to open the Settings application.
  
• Select Update & Security.
  
• Select Activation
  

Here you see the current status. If the account has no licence you can click on Add an account, enter your account data and the account gets the license added.

How to unlink a product key from the Microsoft account?

It is dead easy to remove the digital link from MS account. Simply change login to a local licence.

Then use your product key on new pc. If Windows complains key has already been used, use telephone activation and at step where it asks about licence, state it will only be used on new pc.

 

Licence not linked to Microsoft Account

Those tutorials seem to apply to deactivating and reactivating a retail product key on a new PC, which isn't applicable here as my Mum has a digital licence. I imagine if I deactivate the licence on her old PC now it will just automatically reactivate as she's logged in using her outlook.com account, so maybe I'll have to wait until the new PC is set up and then call/message Microsoft to activate the licence.
