Windows 10: I want to completely wipebit by bit the hard drive and reinstall windows 10.

I've faced a ransomware attack last year which encrypted my files with the .eijy extension, so I reset the laptop from "reset this PC" option in the system settings I was still facing performance issues so I reinstalled fresh windows with the help of service center, but yet again I'm facing system performance issues, hangs problems even when my laptop has powerful processor ryzen 9 5900hx. I personally believe that that ransomware attack has damaged some parts of my hard drive or its residual files are still there on my drive. So I want to completely wipebit by bit the hard drive and reins

Reinstall Windows 10 to new hard drive

We want to know about the issue you're having with your recovery drive. Please answer the questions below:

• Are you trying to reinstall Windows 8 or Windows 10?
• If you already upgraded to Windows 10, were you able to create a new copy of the recovery drive?

Format complete hard drive

I have a hard drive with an older windows 10 version and some other partitions. I want to totally reformat the drive and reinstall windows 10. The Device Manager will list only the partitions and not the complete drive. Do I have to format it from a dvd or another hard drive or can it be reformatted from the Media Creation Tool or ?
