Discus and support I want to download the windows11troubleshooter to fix an install error in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I just had Install error - 0x80070103 trying to install Dell Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.6.7.1.     I want to download the windows11troubleshooter to fix an install error


    I just had Install error - 0x80070103 trying to install Dell Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.6.7.1. I found an article which gave a link to download wushowhide but I got a message that the link can't be downloaded safely. https://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcabIs this link safe?

    KB4025339 Fails Install 0x80070564

    I am trying Eagle 51's suggestions now. Windows Update troubleshooter found a bunch of errors and fixed all but one.The update is trying to download KB4025339 again. I'll see what happens. At step one troubleshooter finishes with one error unresolved "Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected-Not Fixed". Windows update stalled at 0%.

    At step 2 same troubleshooter error. The KB finished a new download failed to install.
    Did step 3 KB has downloaded but fails to install.

    If Eagle's suggestion doesn't work I'll try EdTittel's suggestion

    Tried bothe Eagle & Ed 's suggestions - do not work. Anyone else?

    I have noticed that the latest update for my nvidia drivers has failed to update. Wondering about that!

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
