Windows 10: I want to instal Windows 7 Pro on my Lenovo ideapad 100 and when I go to BOOT MENU its not...

Hello there,When I enter on BOOT MENU, there are 2 choices to choose. One does nothing and the other one its connected to start Windows directly, so its not bringing me to the window were you can select to BOOT from DVD.How can I install a new Windows on my laptop then ? do you see it when you type intel rapid in the Windows start menu?





If you don't see it something has gone wrong!






I see calls to functions in the Intel RST Module, when there is access to the disk.
If Intel RST has broken down that can cause issues.

I suggest you install it again from the Lenovo Website

Oh, I assume you've only got the EMMC option. That's tiny- as said above you need a bigger drive. Most people's Windows partition alone is almost that big, and can be a lot larger.

The device can take (that says) SSD: 128 GB / 256 GB. Go for the larger. There's little in it pricewise. Just make sure you get the right one.

Recommended - anti-static precautions.

Note you will need then to transfer your O/S to the SSD and boot from that.

Let's Uninstall Intel RST Driver from the Device manager;

First make a restore point in case something goes wrong.

In the device manager follow those steps to replace the Intel RST driver with the standard Windows SATA AHCI driver:
