hello community, I had a doubt and I want to get quick reply[please] . my doubt is that my pc [laptop] supports 64 bit but the os in my laptop is of 32 bit [ windows 8 ] . I want to upgrade to windows 10. but I want 64 bit os .media creator tool does'nt work on my pc , shows error and I've tried all methods to solve it but nothing works . the only thing that remains to me is using windows 10 iso file . now my doubt is that should I download 64-bit iso of windows 10 to have a 64-bit os or I should download a 32-bit iso of windows 10 and I will get a option of upgrading to windows 10 of 64 bit [

64 bit Windows can run 64 bit and 32 bit software. There are no special steps needed, just install it.

What cannot run on a 64 bit system is really old 16 bit software. For that you would need a 32 bit Windows, which can run 32 bit and 16 bit software.

I tried downloading the Windows 10 64-bit OS from the microsoft site like an ISO file and tried running it, but it says that this pc can't run that software where Windows 10 32-bit was already installed. Then, I tried installing it online but it didn't show
me any option to select between 32-bit and 64-bit instead directly installed the windows 10 32-bit again. Now I'm really helpless how to change my OS to 64-bit as I've a x64-bit based processor. Somebody please help me..............,
