Windows 10: I want to install windows 10 from an image (.tib) on a Dell Latidude D630.

I'm a teacher and someone gave us 10 dell Latidude D630 computers with windows XP. This is way to old for kids these days, so I want to install windows 10 from an image (.tib). I updated the Bios to A19 and I've installed the image on the hard drive. But when I start the computer it gets stuck after the Dell logo. Just a blinking underscore is visual. How can I resolve this? What do I do wrong? Is it even possible to run Windows 10 on this computers?

Thanks for you suggestion, but I need clarification. Are you suggesting after installing Windows 10, I download dell windows 7 64 bit lan drivers (The latest drivers offered by dell for a d630) and try installing them in compat mode? Or are you suggesting
the latest dell lan drivers for all lap tops which are for windows 8.1, but I would have to say I have a different model laptop, just to make the dell 8.1 drivers available for download? I see a compatibility option for applications, but I don't see it with
drivers. I don't want to just "try" what your suggesting, because it necessitates reinstalling win 10 just to have a look.

How do I get my Dell Latitude D630, with windows 10, to switch over to touchscreen mode, if my Device Manager window does not have any HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICES option listed to click on, in order to follow the steps microsoft gives to use touchscreen mode?
