I recently replace a fan in my HP Pavilion g7 laptop and updated to Windows 10. Now my laptop starts in an endless loop of fan speeding up and slowing down and speeding up?

I understand that your HP Pavilion G7 fan keeps speeding up and slowing down.

When a computer fan spins loudly for a long period of time, there might be an issue with a fan, or the computer might be overheating. High temperatures can cause your fans to run faster. Most of the PC’s
have a temperature sensor. As your machine runs, it keeps an eye on how warm it is and decides at what speed to run the fan.

Meanwhile, you may want to try to the troubleshooting steps mentioned in
Fan is Noisy and Spins Constantly (Windows) and see if that helps.

Note:
Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS
settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
