Windows 10: I want to opt out of the windows Insider program, but I can't

On October 1st I joined the windows insider program through the dev channel to get the pre released version of windows 11. But the pre release version has a message in the desktop saying "Windows 11 home insider preview single language...". I really want to get rid of it. Now that the official version is out I tried all ways possible to opt out of the insider preview version, but I can't. It told me I will have to reinstall windows, so I created windows installation media to reinstall windows without losing any files but I couldn't because it wouldn't give me an option to reinstall it without

can't opt out of insider program

The Windows Insider Program is listed in Settings, Update and Security. That is where you sign up for it so you should be able to opt out there too.

 

Opt out of Windows Insider Program to a Windows 10

Pick one:

• I want to opt out of the Windows Insider program & keep running Windows 10.
  
• I want to opt out of the Windows Insider program, go back to Windows 7 & then upgrade to the current public build of Windows 10.
