Windows 10: I want to raise the height of W11 task bar and then put an address window on it .. like W10

Loved the address window on W10 task bar. Would love to have it on my W11 machine. Had it placed on the bottom row of the bar. Any help? Not complaining about bar at bottom of screen.

Add a button to the address bar.

I would like to add the Zoom button to my new Edge address bar. Have found the following how to do it on the web but they don't work like the instructions say.

To customize the buttons that appear next to the address bar, use these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the Settings and more menu button on the top-right corner. (I assume that is the three dots in a row)
3. Select the Show in toolbar sub-menu. (Don't see 'Show in toobar)
4. Click the action button that you want to add or remove from the toolbar.

Eliminate day of week on task bar

I'd like to reduce the task bar height but, Time, Day of Week, and Date take three lines. I'd like to remove Day thereby reducing the height to two lines.

This recently occurred. I think it was from a W10 update.

 

Windows Explorer Address Bar Height in Windows 10

Hello,

How do you reduce the height of the Windows Explorer Address bar. For example, my address bar appears as:





As you can see, there is a large amount of padding between the text ("My Computer" in this case) and top/bottom borders.

I've tried adjusting resolution and the scaling settings. I'm running Windows 10, all current updates are applied.

Have verified on two other laptops I have and the padding issue does not exist on either one.

Issue only appears in the Address bar, height is good everywhere else.
