Windows 10: I want to remove my email and instead use a different one.

So my user is the administrator and I have signed in with my A account. But I don't want to use that account anymore and instead would like to use account B as my preferred email. I tried to add a new account B and remove the previous account but I am not able to remove my account A. I don't want to lose any data, so is there any way to remove that email?

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Problem removing email account from calender

Hi,

Follow these steps and check :

• Double click on the email account that you wish to remove.
• A pop-up is displayed, at the bottom you can find the Option "Remove Account"
