Windows 10: I want to remove the PIN and Password sign-in requirement for Windows 11.

I want to remove the PIN and Password sign-in requirement for Windows 11. Not from a local account, from my Microsoft account. But it will not accept my Microsoft password. Even after I have changed it several times, it still will not accept the new password. But I can sign in to my Microsoft account, no problem. How can I fix this error? How else can I remove the password/PIN sign-in requirement. Thank you

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

You can remove the pin of account b by following the steps below.

First log in to account b.

1. Open Settings on Windows 11.
   
2. Click on Accounts.
   
3. Click the Sign-option tab.
   
4. Under the “Ways to sign in” section, click the PIN (Windows Hello) setting.
   
5. Click the Remove button in the “Remove this sign-in option” setting.
   
6. Once you complete the steps, the PIN will be removed from the account, but you will continue to have access to the account with your password.
   

 

Windows 11 needs PIN - lost PIN & Password - Help!

To reset a forgotten PIN code, please complete these steps: (Require your phone number.)

Step 1: On the Windows 11 login screen, click “I forgot my PIN” under the PIN password box.

Step 2: Enter your user account password and then click “Sign in”.

Step 3: you need to verify your identity, choose a way to receive code and continue.

Step 4: If you choose your phone number, enter the last 4 digits of the phone number. Then click “Send code”.

Step 5: You will receive a code in seconds. Type in your received code and then click “Verify”.

Step 6: Select “Continue”.

Step 7: Type in a new PIN and type it again to confirm. Then click “OK”. The new PIN password is working now.
