I want to reset my laptop, but each time I try it goes partway through the cycle and then displays the message "Something went wrong. Nothing was changed". Any suggestions?

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

 

No Signal

Hi!

There's a signal in our site and try your suggestion but seems no changes. Maybe this time the problem of my mobile phone is the electronic parts.

Hope you have other suggestions why my mobile phone has No Signal.

6280 Signal Madness Resetting!

Hi, This phones signal is going bonkers!

First of all when i am not using the phone the top left hand where it says '3G' and then the signal bar to show that there is a 3G signal, thats fine.

When i mean reset i mean the signal bar goes to no bars then the 'G' not the 3G' goes away when not using the phone then it comes back after a second.

This is really anoyying it's like the phone antenna broke or something?

Btw i have tested the phone to see if there is any loose parts inside - Nothing found loose, When i mean tested i don't mean i have opened the phone, i have shaked it and put it close to my ear. The only thing i can hear the the loose slider so there is no
loose parts in the phone if this helps.

This normally happens when i slide the phone up or down, This to me sounds like the antenna is bouncing up and down that causes the signal to reset? This is TOO anoyying seriously, when i am in a call to the Boss of my work it just cuts out in the middle of
the call, then the signal comes back.

I mean this total stupidness of this phone.

I haven't heard of this problem before and i think i'm the only one, Don't suggest a Nokia Service Centre please at the moment, Is this a Network related problem or phone problem because i need to get this fixed URGENTLY.
