Windows 10: I want to restore my windows account password with my mobile number but I'm not getting a...

I have created Windows account, haven't used it at all, forgot password, want to restore it with my mobile number, after I enter the last 4 digits, nothing happens. I cannot restore it another way because I never used it and the questions asked by MS implies some historical usage details.Please help

Windows 10 Mobile isn't picking up Outlook.com account

I upgraded my husband's Lumia 640 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Mobile. His Outlook.com account isn't listed in Accounts under Settings in People and Calendar. I've been through all the steps to add an account, but the Outlook.com account still isn't
listed. Can anyone suggest a workaround for this problem?

Yes, I'm sure there wasn't a Microsoft account on the laptop. When I set it up, she didn't want one

So I had to do a factory restore on the laptop. All boot methods would crash. I found out the owner was duped into giving a scammer access to her computer. That's how the startup password got set.

See its not the same as the account login password prompt
