Windows 10: I want to setup a 2nd monitor but i keep getting "didnt detect another display" message

I have a 10th gen intel core i3 cpu, a gtx 1050ti gpu and a B560m Aorus pro ax mother boardCould it be because my components dont support dual monitors?

Windows 10 stopped detecting 2nd monitor

I've restarted the computer (several times), and it's not showing any signs of detecting the 2nd monitor.

Ever since it stopped working, there's only '1' Display option; clicking 'Detect' in Multiple displays results in the message
"Didn't detect another display"; the Device Manager only lists one monitor (screenshot below); and it has stopped allowing me to select other projection modes unless I connect to the 2nd monitor wirelessly.

I'm using an HDMI cable for the 2nd monitor, and have tried both HDMI ports on the monitor unsuccessfully. The monitor models are Dell E2414H and LG 24J4840.

2nd monitor not being detected

Received a software update for windows 10. Upon restart my 2nd monitor was no longer working. Went to the display section in Settings and it is not being detected. Pushed the detect button and nothing. How do I get this back. My 2nd monitor is more
important than any new things in the update.

 

2nd monitor displaying but not being detected

I have Windows 11 and have just installed a 2nd monitor. It is displaying the taskbar and wallpaper, but isn't being detected. AMD Radeon graphics, have checked for latest drivers for graphics and for both monitors, all up to date. Have also checked for updates and there was one and I have installed it. Restarted twice. Primary monitor Lenovo L28U-35 secondary monitor Samsung SyncMaster P2350. HDMI for Primary and DVI for Secondary.
