I want to upgrade to Windows 11 but my CPU, which is a i7 7700k, is not supported according to PC Health Check. I do not mind waiting for the Windows 11 to become compatible with my CPU to upgrade to it, but I am really scared the free upgrade will expire and I do not want to lost out. I cant afford, probably till late next year, to upgrade my CPU. Should the free upgrade to Windows 11 still be available? If not, what is going to happen?

    :)

Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz and it is not listed as supported by Windows11 upgrade for Intel cpu match Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported Intel processors | Microsoft Docs Is there a way we can expect future support for these processors by Microsoft for Windows 11 upgrade? What is the time frame? After all Intel can not dump all our CPUs without extending support, losing the market by buyer confidence

    Windows 11 Supported CPUs

I'd love to know know why my i7-7700K 4.2GHz processor is not supported by Windows 11, other than in attempt to force me to buy a new computer or processor. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and easily outperforms lower end supported CPUs.

Intel CPU not supported in Windows 11

I see that the Intel Core i7-5500u 2.4Ghz is not supported in Windows 11. I see other Intel CPUs listed with less overall power than the i7. Does MS have any plans to expand the CPU supported list?
