Windows 10: I want to use my camera but...

I have a question, I want use my camera but heres the problem, I have a headset with a microphone, and I have my camera but it also has a microphone. I plugged the camera into my computer and when i went to control panel, hardware and sound, sound, then went to the recording tab and I saw that my microphone was saying not plugged in. I later found out it was because of the microphone on my camera basically taking over my microphone settings basically without permission. And my microphone when it was in my headset wasnt working. Then I has to do a system restore to restore my computer to an earlier date before the problem occoured and it was very annoying but my microphone was working in my headset again. But I still want to use the camera but if I do the cameras microphone could mess up my microphone in my headset up again. Is their anyway to avoid this issue so I could use my camera without my cameras microphone messing up settings? I have a logitech C920 Pro HD webcam.

settings to see if the camera access is turned on. Kindly follow the steps below to check the camera privacy settings:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Near the top of the Settings app window is the search box, kindly type the word "webcam" or "camera".
• From the list of results choose Camera privacy settings.
• Make sure that "Let apps use my camera" toggle is set to On.

You can try these steps and see if it will make any difference:

• Power cycle

1. Turn off the phone then remove the back cover and the battery.

2. Reinsert the battery and the back cover then turn on your phone.

• Reset your camera settings

1. Go to Settings.

2. Swipe to Application settings.

3. Choose Photos+camera.

4. Select Reset camera.
