Windows 10: I want to use my mouse for wireless Samsung DeX in the connect app on Windows 11

I use wireless Samsung DeX on my Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and I use the connect app. But, I am unable to use my mouse even though I can use my keyboard. How can I allow mouse input for wireless Samsung DeX in the connect app on Windows 11?

Not working wireless mouse could be due to the following:

• Outdated device driver
• No device driver installed
• Faulty wireless mouse receiver

We would like to know some information to better isolate the issue:

• Have you done any changes (like updating your Windows) on your computer prior to the issue?
  
• Have you tried using using your wireless mouse on other computer and checked if the issue persists?
• Have you tried updating your wireless mouse driver?

For initial troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to run Windows troubleshooter:

• Type troubleshoot in the search box and press Enter.
• Select Hardware and Devices, then click
  Run the troubleshooter.

Windows 10 High Contrast and Samsung DeX on Note 9 Phone

I use the "High Contrast" setting in the "Ease of Access" control screen in Windows 10 to help me see my screens more easily. I have also been successfully using Samsung DeX with my Samsung Note 9 phone with no problems until now. I have recently re-installed
Windows 10 on my HP ProBook 650 G1 Laptop. Since that time, DeX has run at a crawl whenever I have the "High Contrast" on. DeX runs well when I turn off "High Contrast". With the previous install, this was not a problem and I could use "High Contrast" for
any windows application on a second screen. For example, I often use WordPad with the "High Contrast" setting on to get a black background. Blue on Black or White on Black is my preferred way to work. I'd like to be able to use DeX for YouTube, PBS and Netflix
as I used to. Our cell phones are our only web connection. (While using DeX, I connect my PC to the internet on my cell phone using Bluetooth.) Any Help?

 

Wireless Mouse connects as a keyboard

Hi there.

I've tried doing all of these steps, and it still doesn't work. I can see the device in 'Connected devices' in 'Settings'. It is listed as 'Microsoft Nano Tranceiver' but has a keyboard icon next to it. the mouse is a Microsoft Mouse 1850. This also occurs
with other wireless mice I have tried, and they connect but all have the keyboard icon next to them.
