I foolishly deleted some system files while clearing up space on my computer and now it won't boot. it gives me an option to either turn off my pc or troubleshoot no reset this PC option I tried all the trouble shoot options and nothing works what do I do?

• Right-click start and choose "Run" then type cleanmgr ("cleanup manager") and click OK.
• If asked to choose a drive, pick your C: drive (or wherever Windows is installed).
• In the popup, ignore everything and click the "Clean up system files" button. Don't miss this step.
• Now you can select all the update-related stuff above to clear it out (or clear it all, all of it is safe to remove if you want to free space).

The question now is: How exactly did you perform this uninstallation process? Which files or folders did you delete?

About drive letter X: - you are in Windows Repair Mode. Drive X: is a virtual drive that disappears the moment you leave this mode.
