I have tried all of the advice offered online,I have allowed apps to disable to border, I have disabled the narrator and all other accessibility features. I closed the windows snippit tool on launch but it still remains intermittently and I'm done with the nuisance.is there a way to PERMANENTLY remove this feature, i don't care if it leaves me more open to malware or malicious programs the fact is I'm perfectly capable of dealing with those issues myself. This feature is worse than any malware I have encountered and the fact that there isn't an easily accessible way to disable to feature is an

    Border removal.

    Hi Allen,

Your issue is quite unique and we want to know more:

    • Can you send a screenshot of the reduced Windows size that has three borders?
    • What feature are you you referring to?

    Looking forward to your response.

  3. Turn off the yellow screen border Windows 11 uses to warn of screen capture.

    Hello Dave,

Thank you for your help with this.

The link provided is the first one I tried (didn't work).

I've also visited OBS Studio forum with ref the above,

"The yellow border is not something OBS introduced. It’s a Windows 10 feature that was implemented for security reasons."

Hence me popping on to the Windows Forum to pick those lovely big brains of yours.

The border is so bright, my next step is to use gaffer tape to tape around my monitor.

Identify the USB drive number) select disk n (replace n by the USB drive number obtained with list disk) clean convert mbr create part primary select part 1 format fs=fat32 quick assign exit (to exit diskpart)
