Windows 10: I would like to add an older Tenda router to my wireless network

I have this older Tenda router and would like to add it to expand my wireless network. On the internet it says to enter 192.168.0.1 in the address bar to open the website where I enter my network name and password. However it does not open. Do I need to add the router to my laptop. How do I do that? Please help.

• Are you able to see the router's name in the wireless networks list?
• Are you able to connect to the router but unable to connect to the Internet?
• Do you receive any error message when connecting to the router? If yes, what is the exact error message that you receive?

In the meantime, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems. Kindly follow the steps below:

• In the search box on the taskbar, type Network troubleshooter, and then select
  Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
• Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands,
Temporarily turn off firewalls and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

Tenda AV1000 Powerline Adapter not appearing as available to join

Windows 11 on pc. I have Tenda AV1000 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Adapter kit model PH6. Router is Livebox 4 (French system with Orange.fr. The Tenda passthrough adapters seem to be connected as the green lights are solid and they are on the same eletrical circuit. Previously Tenda would appear on the list of available networks but no longer. I have reset the network, reset the adapters, restarted the modem several times but still no Tenda appearing as a network to join. I have unplugged them and tried another Tenda extender product 300 Mbps AV200 powerline extender starter kit, which also worked earlier, but same problem, nothing shows as available apart from my router.

Thanks for trying the steps again. It's now clear that the problem is on your router. To reconnect your laptop to the network, we suggest that you set or specify the channel of your wireless network. If you can access your router's user interface, set the
channel to either channel 1, 6, or 11. Once done, remove your WiFi network from your preferred network list, then reconnect.
