Windows 10: I would like to be able to access some of my older Paint 3D Project files.

I would like to be able to access some of my older Paint 3D Project files. The program itself will only hold 5 or 6 files, and they are automatically deleted as new projects are saved. This is a terrible feature I would like to correct so I can work on older projects when I need to. None of them ever go to my clipboard? However, files from other programs go to clipboard.

I have been able to locate the files, but it will only open them in VLC media player and won't work when using Paint 3D. Is there a "master" file in every project map or something like that?

The location that you've provided is the default file storage for Paint 3D. For us to provide the best resolution possible, we'll be needing additional information:

• Have you tried browsing on the default file storage and open the project files in Open menu? If yes, what happens when opening the project files?
• What do you mean about project.json does not point to any of the projects?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you run the Windows apps troubleshooter as an initial troubleshooting step and check if the project files are visible in the Open menu. You can also try browsing the project files in the Open menu after running the troubleshooter.
